The Homelessness Experience is a truly unique weekend-long retreat for students, where they engage in the issue homelessness and discover Gods heart for the poor. This is a Disciple-Now experience like no other and will GUARANTEE to impact their lives forever - they will never look at the world the same!

Features Of The Weekend:

During this weekend, from the safety of your church, students will truly experience homelessness first hand. They will live the homeless life by trading their clothes for second-hand clothing, eating food from mobile soup kitchens, sleeping in cardboard boxes, visiting a local food-bank, listening to real-life testimonies, join in a MASSIVE canned food hunt and engage in three powerful group worship and teaching sessions… All this culminating in a HUGE CONCERT and a PASSIONATE CALL TO LIVE FOR JESUS and BECOME WORLDCHANGERS!

Here’s what you get:

- An ‘easy-to-follow’ manual/guide which will help you bring together the necessary resources and volunteers for the experience.

- 3 sessions with Worship Band and Speaker Lucas Parry (Friday PM/Saturday AM/Saturday PM)

- Sound will be provided for host groups of over 300 people (additional expense required)

- Discussion Guides for small group sessions provided in .pdf form

- T-shirt designed with local church name and The Homelessness Experience Logo. (Church pays for shirts on top of the the honorarium)

Cost to your church:

- Meals for up to 7 adults
